Hello... =)
My name is Linda Melanie Anwar, and I am an Indonesian student at the University of Arizona. I am the oldest, and I have two brothers and two sisters. Their names are Indra, Wildan, Amelia, and Nabila. You know..., I am sooo... glad to have them all. And, hey..., if you plan to ask me to get even one of my sibblings, I'm not gonna give you
(hahaha..., sorry guys...).
Now, I am staying in Tucson, Arizona to wrap up my study in Business Management. I'm living here with my two younger brothers, Indra and Wildan, in an apartment. My apartment is pretty far from my campus, and takes about 15 to 20 minutes from my place to go there. I really hope that Amelia and Nabila also stay here with me. Maybe in couple years they're gonna be ready for studying here.
Enough about that..., and now..., let's to about HOBBIES!!! Well, I like listening to music, shopping (just a little), reading some news, rollerblading, and... cooking. Hey, wait..., wait..., did I say "cooking"? Hahahaha..., you know, this is funny. Before I came to Tucson, I just didn't have any idea about cooking. And..., mannn...! it was awful 'cause, you know..., in my culture, it is such a pride for a girl if she has an ability in cooking.
My mom encouraged me to cook when was in high school, and also when I was still a freshmen (I've been in Tucson for almost years). But, I just couldn't cook, because the taste was never right. Sometimes the food's too sour..., or it had to be more salt in it..., and so on and so forth. So, I was tired to do it, and then I said to myself, "Oh..., let's forget it."
All of the sudden, here goes..., I met somebody who's like..., well..., an expert in cooking. His initial is..., ooh..., no no no..., it's not important, but the thing is... he is a man. So, that man is so RIGHT in cooking (I don't know how to say, but he really can cook). And then..., after a million years (huahhaha...), I began to try to cook because when I saw that man's cooking, he never found any difficulties. So, I thought, "If he things that cooking is easy, it will works for me too."
So, I just tried to cook and never gave up. So, if the food that I made was not so good, I could make it better in taste by adding some salt, white pepper, garlic, ginger, etc, just for... -- like I said -- a better TASTE, and IT WORKS!!! So, ladies and gentelmen, you know..., cooking is fun!! So..., why don't you guys try. I got some RECIPES if you want.
OK, I think that's it for the introduction 'cause I'm getting tired. My fingers are shouting to stop typing, and my mouth's shouting and singing a song like this, "I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!!!" So, go ahead to SURF ON my page, and I gotta go to my kitchen to get some ICE CREAM!!! Do you want some?
